MATT SMITH
COMPOSER | VOCALIST | PRODUCER
Chicago area native Matt Smith is a classically trained singer and performer with degrees in Music Composition, Theory, and Production, and Professional Vocal Performance certification from Elmhurst University, where he studied under and performed with nationally recognized artists including Jazz greats Carmen Bradford, Kurt Elling, and Gayle Bisesi.
Matt was honored to be selected to perform each year with the acclaimed vocal jazz ensemble Late Night Blues, and Elmhurst's premiere Concert Choir.
Matt is currently engaged as a vocal and keys instructor at School of Rock, performs as a praise and worship vocalist, sings professionally for the NapervilleVoice Choir, is a substitute teacher for choir, band, and orchestra, has reprised his role in the production of Turnabout: An Ace Attorney Musical, and is producing his next big masterpiece and adventure.
